Finds washing (Finds from the Minchery Farm Paddock Excavations)

Date:
4 December 2012 - 9:00am - 4:00pm

The Archaeology of East Oxford Project recently excavated at Minchery Farm Paddock and found huge amounts of interesting finds including lots of pottery, animal bones and tile that now need to be washed and sorted. You don't need any experience as all training and guidance will be given on the day!

If you would like to come along please contact jo@archeox.net or Maggie Willis mrw1@btinternet.com. You need to contact either Jo or Maggie in advance so we can prepare enough equipment but also so that we can make sure we have enough biscuits!!

For those who haven't finds washed before- wear something old as you may get a little grubby. All finds washing kit will be provided.

Whilst the session will run from 9am till 4- you don't have to stay all day (though you are more than welcome too!), simply let us know what hours you can do when confirming your place.
