C. James Bond: 'Oxford's Medieval Farming Landscape'

Mr C.J. Bond, an expert on medieval and agricultural landscapes, will speak about Medieval farming landscapes. James Bond formerly worked in Oxfordshire Museums Service and was in charge of the Sites and Monuments record for many years [now Historic Environment Record]. Although now living in Somerset, he continues to be an unrivalled fount of detailed knowledge about the archaeology of Oxford and Oxfordshire. He also has extensive teaching experience in archaeology and local history at OUDCE. His book on Monastic Landscapes recently won a major national prize.
