Sunday 14 July, 6pm. All welcome to the Barn, directly across lane from Bartlemas Chapel. The Matrix Project. An exciting, original and innovative art project about doing Archaeology. Developed with project volunteers and an artist / composer/ musician. Free - all welcome to this beautiful location!


(and a very nice way to conclude National Archaeology Day)


Look for the former 'Regal', a large brick ex-cinema building on Cowley Road (now a christian centre), on the corner of Magdalen Road. The entry to Bartlemas Lane (narrow!) is across Cowley Road beside the modern brick detached house (Cowley vicarage). A sign says Oriel College Sports Ground and 'no unauthorised access' but you are welcome to walk or cycle on up the lane for this event.


There are bus (no. 5) stops in both directions on Cowley Road immediately adjacent to the entry to Bartlemas Lane. Please do not attempt to drive/park cars up the Lane as there are no public spaces there. If you need vehicle disabled access please email jane@archeox.net in advance.
